Facilitating Value-Laden Topics [Advanced Training for Trainers]. Rev. [ed.] November 1996

This workshop is for experienced trainers who have completed a 40-hour basic training for trainers course. Its purpose is to help them deal with sensitive topics that focus on the beliefs, attitudes, and life experiences of participants. Topics discussed include: learning styles, stages of group development, trainer interventions, responding to participants' questions, and dealing with disruptive behavior. Course materials consist of a one-volume manual that contains trainer notes, a case study, and a participant workbook. The workshop is designed to run for three six-hour days.
