The Prison Policy Initiative (PPI) "conducts research and policy advocacy around incarceration policy . . . [and] produces accurate, timely and accessible statistics and reports for use by activists, journalists and policy makers on prison and responses to crime" (p. 1). Access to the following is provided at this website: articles, speakers bureau, internships, visitor links, and other PPI websites. In the future there will be access to PPI reports and press coverage about PPI.
