Guidance for implementation and delivery of successful offending behavior programs is supplied. Critical elements of good practice that need to be reviewed include: planning for implementation; effective communication systems; staff supervision and support; staffing levels; staff training; administrative staff; referral and targeting; program integrity and monitoring; and accommodation. Specific practice guides are provided for the Aggression Replacement Training Programme (ART), ARSO (Addressing Substance-Related Offending), Drink-Impaired Drivers, FOV (Focus on Violence for Men), Priestly 1:1, PRISM (Programme for Reducing Individual Substance Misuse), and the West Midlands Sex Offender Programme.
