(Statistics &Research)
The state of integrated justice information systems, information management, and sharing practices among criminal justice organizations is examined. Municipal police departments, sheriffs' offices, state's attorneys' offices, circuit court clerks' offices, and probation departments provide information on the 24 types of data transferred between agencies. Unfortunately, there is little electronic data sharing on an integrated basis.
