The "implementation, outputs, outcomes and costs of three approaches" to community punishment are examined (p. 1). The three approaches include pro-social modeling (PSM), skills accreditation (SA), and tackling other offender-related needs (TON). With a 73% overall completion rate, the Pathfinder projects utilizing PSM and SA appear promising, while TON does not appear to be very effective.
