Training
Expectations of an RFC's Home Agency
:: HOME > Regional Training > RFC Portal > Participating agencies contribute to the Regional Training project by supporting the Regional Field Coordinator's participation and by making other staff members available to participate in regional events.

Additional direct and indirect support includes:
  • Use of training sites at no cost;
  • Use of academy-style lodging facilities at low or no cost;
  • Absorbing the costs of design, printing, duplication, and shipping of materials;
  • Use of in-house expertise (graphic design, curriculum design and development, etc.);
  • Other support strategies depending on the scope and complexity or the project.

What's in it for your agency?
  • Your voice and training concerns are represented at a national level;
  • You gain visibility as an agency dedicated to training and as a provider of national-caliber training;
  • You receive reciprocal support from other regional training efforts;
  • You receive funding assistance to meet training requirements and goals;
  • Your in-kind contributions have a greater impact when coupled with NIC support.
