:: HOME > About Our Training > Training Logistics & Venue ... > Smoking is not permitted in the training center. Smokers may wish to step outside the building during the breaks and use one of the designated smoking areas. The use of smokeless tobacco is also prohibited in the training center.

Due to security concerns at the NIC training center, participants must use the front entrance to access the building. When departing the building after 4:30 p.m., you must exit through a stairwell door. Consult the NIC staff for instructions if you need to be in the building outside of normal working hours. Participants must wear an NIC-issued name badge at all times while in the training center.

Adverse weather hotline: NIC training center closure and class delay information is provided on a 24-hour basis by calling the Adverse Weather Hotline. If you have any concerns about the operation of the training center during adverse weather conditions, call the hotline at 303-340-7806.

NIC prefers that you not be accompanied by family or friends, since this tends to distract from the learning environment, and frequently there are evening class events.
